Q & A: Can I run an Air Conditioner while Boondocking with Solar Power and Inverter
The answer is Yes if you have a 5000 watt or less wall mount air conditioner, small travel trailer and four batteries you can run the air conditioner while boondocking / dry camping. I am including a link to the manufacturers website.
The Solar Extreme may be over kill but the Solar Elite would be sufficient. These come with complete kits minus the batteries.
I am not gaining royalties just wanting to show you the item to purchase that I know will work in the right situation.

My RV My Memory Box
When I was a little girl (no it wasn't all that long ago) my family always did 3 things.
- Every Christmas Eve Together
- Every Home Bronco game
- CAMPING
I have lost 2 Grand parents in the past 5 months which has left me to be so thankful for the memories my Grandfather had left me with. All of his children and grandchildren and eventually their children would take an annual camping trip. As you know the time and memories are irreplaceable.
We never went lake or resort camping. We did however have the most amazing hikes.
We never hooked up to water or electricity. We did how ever take a bar of soap into the lake for a bath.
We never watched TV or had WiFi. We did play flash light tag.
AND I never caught a fish but loved to go fishing!
And because of the precious village that built me I will never forget those amazing memories of putting everything else on hold and just enjoying one another! That is why my RV will always be my memory box!
Times have changed and so has the way many people enjoy camping.... What are your favorite memories on your camping trips?

Happy April Fools Day a Day for Fishing
What a strange holiday! Who in the world thought of a day to pull pranks and jokes on our unsuspecting friends and family? It seems to be a very good question that no one really has the answer to. Was it two of the Roman jestures who thought they could run the country better than Constantine or is it simply the use of the new Gregorian calendar by the French (sort of like a New Years celebration) who is to know?
Today in France the norm is to hook a card board fish to the back of your unsuspecting target who would be called "Poisson d'Avril". For me it seems like a great day to get my camper out and go hook a real fish. Wish me luck.
